The International Yearbook publishes original scientific, review and professional articles, on all aspects of Social Sciences and is particularly focused on the following scientific fields: Security Sciences, Criminalistics, Police Sciences, Criminal Law and Legal Sciences, Criminology, Human Rights, International Relations, Political Sciences.

Please send your paper no later than October 15th, 2022.

The International Yearbook is academic journal of the Faculty of Security-Skopje, University of “St. Kliment Ohridski”-Bitola, Republic of North Macedonia. Founded in 1977, the Faculty of Security is the first academic institution in the former Yugoslavia in the area of security sciences. The Yearbook of the Faculty of Security has been published since 1981, the last few years enlarging its scope of publication to international audiences. Since 2015 the Yearbook is issued as International and it is published twice a year.

The International Yearbook publishes original scientific, review and professional articles, on all aspects of Social Sciences and is particularly focused on the following scientific fields:

  • Security Sciences,
  • Criminalistics,
  • Police Sciences,
  • Criminal Law and Legal Sciences,
  • Criminology,
  • Human Rights,
  • International Relations,
  • Political Sciences.

The International Yearbook of the Faculty of Security has been included in the CEEOL -Central and Eastern European Online Library and The US Library of Congress Databases.

Dear colleagues and researchers,

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the new issue of the International Yearbook 2022 of the Faculty of security – Skopje.

The International Yearbook publishes original scientific, review and professional articles, on all aspects of Social Sciences and is particularly focused on the following scientific fields:

  • Security Sciences,
  • Criminalistics,
  • Police Sciences,
  • Criminal Law and Legal Sciences,
  • Criminology,
  • Human Rights,
  • International Relations,
  • Political Sciences.

All submitted papers should be based on original research or new interpretations and should reflect the highest standards of scholarship.

The papers should contain author’s name and affiliation, email, title, abstract (150-300 words), key words, body of the text, and bibliography. Quotation style is APA. 

Interested authors are allowed to submit one single-authored paper and one co-authored paper.

The papers must be written in English and sent to godisnik2022@uklo.edu.mk, in accordance with the Author Guidelines.

The preferable length of the papers is 6,000 words (or 30.000 characters with spaces).

All submissions will be peer-reviewed.

  • Acceptance and peer reviews:            November 1, 2022.
