This study programme and the subjects it encompasses reflect the broadness, complexity and diversity of security problems, addressing the basics and especially the etiology and the phenomenology of security and security phenomena as the basis for developing security assessments, prognosis and policies, thus building strategies which are of significance for the state and the society as a whole.
This study programme offers our students the possibility for specializing their knowledge within three narrower security sub-fields: Crisis Management, National Security and Integral Security. Students choose the specific sub-field in the 5th semester. Within all streams, students attend practical and clinical instruction in adequate institutions in state and private sector.

The studies within this study programme last four years (eight semesters).
Upon the completion of studies students earn a total of 240 ECTS credits.
